The Royal Commission intends to Construct new substations facilities to provide power to the expansion area of JCPDI. The work of this contract includes all Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities required to provide complete and functional electrical power system installations with major components as described below. All work is in JCPDI. The new 132/13.8 kV Substation SS2B shall consist of the following: 1. Six (6) 132/13.8 kV 50/63 MVA transformers. 2. 6-dias of 132kV Breaker-and-a-Half configuration. 3. Two (2) underground 132 kV cable circuits to SS1A (approximately 11km), using 2-2000mm2 CU/XLPE 132kV cable per phase arranged in a "flat" formation, cross-bonded configuration including the necessary fiber optics communication cables. 4. Eight (8) 14-bay 13.8 kV, Indoor Metal Clad, Arc-proof, vacuum type Switchgear with bus duct connections to power transformers and between 13.8kV bus sections.
